Diamonds, stepped motifs and bands are repeated by eye, so the spacing and colour shift a little across each piece and no two are quite the same. Faryab kilims have a tighter, finer weave that gives the pattern more detail. Alongside them you'll find vintage kilims from Iran, Turkey and the Caucasus, softened by years of use.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA kilim is wool through and through, so it is light, hard-wearing and reversible. It lies flat, so a door opens over it easily, it layers well over a larger rug and it's simple to move from room to room.
