Style: Kilims are woven with a different technique from rugs and are without a pile which allows you to use both sides, this versatility is functional and practical making you get the most out of your handmade item. Kilims are known for it's geometrical patterns, rich colours and flatware texture. This kilim has been handwoven in Maimana, Northern Afghanistan from 100% wool. Handmade to last, this kilim won't disappoint you! 

We recommend using an underlay for all kilims, this will stop any movement from occurring when placed in your space and it will allow for the kilim to get a better grip on your floors.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

We offer free shipping within Australia! For international orders, we charge a flat rate of $80 AUD.

Orders take up to 1-3 business days to process, and then they should arrive at your doorstep within five working days.

We require a signature on all deliveries unless otherwise requested.
WILL THE RUG LOOK THE SAME IN REAL LIFE?

Each rug we sell is handmade, incredibly unique and detailed; now you can imagine how photographing that is very hard. All our rugs are photographed with the best equipment and are not retouched/photoshopped, ensuring they look the same in person.

As a result, we feel confident that the images you see on our website and the rugs in person match 99.9%. Your space will significantly affect how the rug looks in person; therefore, please consider your lighting, room size and furniture beforehand.

Meet Najaf

The founder of Najaf Rugs, Najaf Mazari, learned the intricate art of making rugs at the age of 12 in his hometown of Mazar-E-Sharif in Afghanistan. In 2001, he arrived in Australia as a refugee and built this business from the ground up six months after his arrival. His passion for rugs still shows in every single rug he sources. There's no better decision than buying a rug from someone who knows every rug's ins and outs and how to weave one.
