At 300 × 200 cm a rug starts to hold a living room together, and this is where our Maimana and Faryab kilims show their patterns at full scale.

Kilims make up much of the collection, from bold Maimana designs worked from memory to finer, tighter Faryab weaves. Our own Transitional Kohi rugs, designed by Najaf Rugs and hand-knotted in Afghanistan, offer a very soft hand-spun pile in contemporary patterns. Vintage Persian Kerman, Bakhtiari, Shiraz and Tabriz rugs, Afghan Chobi, Yekta and Balkh rugs and Turkmen Ersari rugs complete the range.

Around 300 × 200 cm suits a living area with a three-seater sofa, with the front legs of the sofa and chairs resting on the rug. A kilim is easy to lay down and adjust, while knotted pile adds warmth and softens sound in an open room.
