Pink Rugs

From dusty rose to bright raspberry, our pink rugs are woven in shades that warm a room the moment you lay them down.

Afghan Chobi rugs tend to carry the softest pinks. They are muted, slightly faded and knotted into a smooth, low pile of hand-spun wool. Maimana and Faryab kilims use pink more boldly, setting it against teal, saffron and cream in stepped diamonds. Then there are vintage Persian pieces from Kerman, Hamadan and Ardabil, where rose sits within a medallion or border and has mellowed with age, and our own Kohi designs with their very soft hand-spun pile.

Pink is more versatile than people expect. A pale, powdery rug sits easily with oak and linen, while deeper rose looks beautiful with navy, green and warm timber. Because each rug is made by hand, the colour shifts a little across the pile, so it looks different in morning light than it does in the evening.
