Made for open-plan living and long dining rooms, our 400 × 300 cm rugs are big enough to bring a whole furniture arrangement onto one surface.

Vintage Persian Kerman rugs lead the collection, with intricate floral fields and medallions made by professional city weavers. Afghan Chobi rugs and our own Transitional Kohi rugs, designed by Najaf Rugs and hand-knotted in Afghanistan, offer soft hand-spun pile in calmer colour, joined by Transitional Aaram rugs in muted earth tones and softened blues. There are also Afghan-made Transitional Oushak rugs, Balkh rugs, Maimana kilims and vintage Moud, Kashan and Turkmen Bokhara rugs.

A rug this size suits a large living room with a modular sofa or two facing sofas, or a dining table for eight to ten. With so much floor covered, a soft palette of creams, blues and pastels keeps a big room light.
