350 × 250 cm (11' × 8')

For larger living and dining rooms, our 350 × 250 cm rugs give a vintage Kerman medallion or a Chobi's all-over florals the room to unfold properly.

Vintage Persian Kerman rugs and Afghan Chobi rugs lead this size. The Kermans are city rugs, ornate and carefully drawn, with floral fields and central medallions, while Chobis are hand-knotted in northern Afghanistan with a low, lanolin-rich pile. Maimana and Faryab kilims offer a flat, reversible alternative, and there are Balkh and Yekta rugs, Persian Tabriz and Bidjar rugs, Turkmen Ersari rugs and Transitional Kohi and Aaram rugs.

This size suits a larger living room where all the seating can sit on the rug, or a dining table for six to eight with room for chairs to slide back. Choose a low pile under a dining table so chairs move easily, and a softer Kohi or Chobi where people stretch out.
